Our Governing Bodies

Ringette Canada

As the governing body for ringette, we are passionate about improving and promoting our sport. We strive to provide programs, events and initiatives that allow participants to play ringette at every level.

We work together with coaches, officials and volunteers to make ringette a safe, inclusive and fun sport that all Canadians can enjoy.

As world leaders in ringette, we also help elite athletes reach their highest potential so that they can compete nationally and internationally.

Ringette Ontario 

Ringette Ontario is the Provincial Sport Organization for Ringette in Ontario. Ringette Ontario is an athlete-centric and value-driven organization that oversees all ringette interests in the province.  Ringette Ontario delivers programming focusing on athlete, coach and official development, as well as supporting sanctioned events through Provincials, Regionals and tournaments.

Ringette Ontario boasts a membership of over 50 Local Associations and more than 9,500 registered players, 2,500 coaches, 300 referees, and countless volunteers.

Levels of play include AA, A, BB, B, CC, C Recreation, Development and House League Divisions.

Eastern Region Ringette Association (ERRA)

ERRA (Eastern Region Ringette Association) is responsible for overseeing all Ringette organizations and activities within the Eastern Region of Ringette Ontario.

• Eastern Region includes communities within the boundaries of the City of Ottawa; Counties of Hastings, Lennox and Addington, Frontenac, Leeds, Grenville, Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Prescott, Russell, Lanark, and Renfrew.
• The associations currently within Eastern Region are:  Arnprior-McNabb, City of Ottawa, Clarence-Rockland, Gloucester & Area Adult (GAARA), Gloucester-Cumberland, Kingston, Metcalfe & District, Nepean, Queens University Ringette, Upper Ottawa Valley, West Ottawa
• The Leagues operating within Eastern Region are the National Capital Region Ringette League, and Gloucester & Area Adult Ringette Association.
